DataPlex Commuter Products

The DataPlex AVR (Average Vehicle Ridership) System software helps companies manage employee ridesharing and thereby comply with federal and local government regulations including the Federal Clean Air Act.

The Incentive Tracking System is a companion product to the AVR System.  It monitors the vehicle trip reduction measures used by its employees.

The DataPlex Ridesharing System matches employees who live near one another or who pass by others on their way to work. It uses proprietary algorithms to match quickly large numbers of employees quickly.

All Commuter Products software can be up and running quickly with a minimum of effort because they interface with existing employee databases.

Super 319 PBX Add-On Circuit

We designed the Teletronics Super 319 enhancement product for Mitel Corporation's SX-100 and SX-200 SuperSwitch Phone Switches. This device adds 911 Emergency Call Management, new area code support, call blocking, advanced call routing, and other features to these switches. Many hotels and motels find the Super 319 more cost effective than purchasing a new phone switch.

TX-2000 Video Printer

We developed the TX-2000 Video Printer manufactured by Computer Devices, Inc. This Video Printer produces clear grey scale printed images from most video sources. It avoids dealing with difficult communications protocols. TX-2000's can be set up very easily and provide a very cost effective solution for obtaining otherwise difficult hardcopy.  The TX-2000 is used primarily in the medical and stock brokerage fields.

Our latest offering can be used standalone or with any of the popular Word Processing Systems to manage the outflow of special correspondence.  Letters are automatically bar-coded for easy scanning when they are returned.  Such letters are used to ask for late payments, verify information or for any other application where the tracking of correspondence is important.

DataKeepers
Road Maintenance Monitors
DataPlex product

We designed the DataPlex DataKeeper to satisfy customer requests for a rugged yet flexible handheld computer for a variety of applications.  This small device typically provides remote data collection and validation.  It has also been used as the main processor for many hardware control operations.  The Datakeeper has a full ASCII keyboard, a EIA-rated serial port, a 2 line by 24 column LCD display, a battery life up to one year, and weighs under a pound.  It can be used in direct sunlight.  It has options for a larger display, an application specific keyboard, bar code reader, credit card reader, wireless data transfer, and wireless real-time communications to the Internet.  Some DataKeepers are used as Road Maintenance Monitors.  These are specialized units that public works departments use to monitor the condition of streets, roads, alleys and sidewalks.
