DataPlex engineers have completed the design of a 4,096 by 2,304 pixelset image sensor for high-speed photography and digital cinematography. The new sensor boasts two major advances. First, true three-color separation is achieved by using DataPlex’s novel “pixelsets” instead of pixels, eliminating the need to subsample colors and providing billiant clarity.
