We created the fundamental technology for Eltron International,
Inc.'s Barcode Label Printer used throughout the United States by the United
States Postal Service. This low-cost bar-code printer is designed for speed
and has a unique self-peeling label feature.

We managed the early design of the basic technology for 3D System, Inc. and
Soligen, Inc., both leaders in the fast growing
arena of rapid prototyping equipment. These companies' machines can quickly
make a physical three-dimensional part from a CAD file. Manufacturing
firms use these machines to bring products to market faster. We designed
and manufactured 3D System's high-accuracy laser controller which pushes
the state of the art ahead several notches. We are technical advisors to Soligen
on their Direct to Shell Production Casting (DSPC) moldmaking machines.
EnTouch Personnel Locator Badges

We provided the final stage of engineering for TRL Systems' new EnTouch Badge. Installed in hospitals and medical groups, doctors and their
staff wear these badges so that their location can be quickly determined, especially useful for emergency situations. The badges emit a low-power
optical signal that is automatically picked up by receivers located around
the facility. The system typically pays for itself in a matter of
months by increasing productivity and allowing personnel to take long-distance
phone calls right away instead of returning them later.
