DataPlex revamps PrefixSuffix.com

After going live with a slew of improvements,
PrefixSuffix.com,
an online English language reference site, experienced a twelve-fold increase
in revenue. DataPlex added clear navigation,
engaging content and revenue generating ads, converted
a static word root list to a MySql database and expanded it
significantly, and added educational games, all of which
makes the site more attractive to more visitors.

an online store with a specific marketing theme. Powered by several
technologies from Google and amazon.com,
PrincessMania simplifies the selection of princess-theme gifts,
books, DVDs, electronics and toys. To aid site administrators,
it has associated with it a bevy of sales and marketing reports.
DataPlex to Develop Electronics
for MRI's M-20 Industrial Tester

DataPlex has been selected by Measurement Research, Inc. (MRI)
to develop the realtime control electronics for MRI's new
M-20 Industrial Tester. DataPlex will design the custom
electronics, develop the firmware and Windows application, and
also manufacture the circuit boards. DataPlex had previously developed
and manufactured the electronics for MRI's M-15 product line of Industrial
Torque Testers.
DataPlex Creates Wireless Buttons for NBC's Singing Bee

DataPlex created the wireless button system used for
contestant tie-breaking in NBC's hit game show, Singing
Bee. The system's buttons transmit on independent
frequencies and their receivers feed a contestant "first
to respond" circuit. For heightened reliability and
security, the frequencies adjust, transmitted digital signatures
are verified, and multiple receivers increase
the system's range and eliminate RF dropouts.
DataPlex Engineers Custom System for Reader's Digest

For the second straight year, DataPlex and its
partner, Quick Tally Interactive Systems, provided
custom-engineered voting systems to Reader's Digest
for its nationwide Word Power Challenge where students
compete for $50,000 in college scholarships. The
show stars Al Roker as the host and will air on NBC
in June.

DataPlex Implements Web Database for Charity

DataPlex has implemented a full-scale web database for tracking a
charity's membership and activities. The charity's executives
can securely access the database through standard HTML pages anywhere
in the world, and instantly download filtered lists to Microsoft
Office products including Word and Excel.
The database is implemented using MySQL, the server-based
language is PHP, the client-based language is JavaScript, and the
HTML pages are sources from templates that are maintained directly
by the charity's staff.
